This is a question posed by literally hundreds of visitors to our campus and also
articulated as a challenge to our staff in their pursuit of excellence. The following
examples are offered as we contemplate Whitefield’s mission.

Whitefield is unique as a Christ-centered academically challenging school. All of
the faculty and staff are committed Christians who strive to challenge students
beyond their self-imposed limitations and who also perceive priorities above the
external.

“Community” is an actual experience at Whitefield. Moms’ groups, dads’ groups, student
activities, and family events bring our school together with a purpose of uniting
and including.
|
|
|
|
Excellent core courses, honors courses, and AP classes challenge students to become
critical thinkers and problem solvers from the earliest ages. However, educating
a young person moves full-circle by including a spiritual component of knowing Christ,
understanding God’s perspective in all of life, and practicing the Christian directive
to serve others.

|
Whitefield is growing! From its inception in 1997, as a school serving 96 students
in grades 6 through12, to its present enrollment of 684 students in grades Pk-4
through 12, the Whitefield community is thriving and continually moving forward
with new sports programs, fine arts opportunities, and the addition of new facilities.
|
|
|
|
Whitefield graduates are moving into the university and beyond with individual testing
and counseling relating to aptitudes, interests, and abilities – directed towards
answering questions of identity and purpose as it applies to college, career, and
life choices.
|
Finally, the students, faculty, staff, and parents at Whitefield truly enjoy our
