About my colleagues:
I am honored to work with the very best teachers in all of Atlanta at Whitefield. They continue to amaze me with their academic excellence, passion for Christ, and love for children. It is a privilege to work with such outstanding people.
Me at home:
I am so blessed to be the mom of two wonderful children—Barlow, a junior, and Sarah, an 8th grader. They are the light of my life. We are constantly on the go between school, swimming at Georgia Tech, and spending time with family and friends. They make me smile and laugh daily!
Why I love teaching:
I love to see a child’s face light up as they all of sudden “get it”! It is rewarding to be able to shepherd a child’s heart and partner with parents in pointing a child towards Christ. These are the seeds that will stay with a child for eternity. I love to help a child discover his or her God-given gifts and then encourage that child to use his or her gifts for the Lord.
