- The Class of 2009 received partial/full academic collegiate scholarships in excess of 5.9 million dollars
- Whitefield class sizes average between 16 and 18 students
- 11 graduates from the class of '09 are continuing their career as a scholar/athlete

Monthly local projects ranging from meal preparation for terminally ill patients to cleaning-up parks and sorting through
clothes for homeless shelters
- Compete in 17 varsity sports
Football - Region Championship ('07 and '08)
Girls Tennis - Region Championship ('06)
Boys Basketball - State Finalists ('04, '06, and '07) and State Championship ('03 and '09)
- Deliver three major drama productions per year and receive regional drama awards for productions as well as "Best Actor/Actress"
recognitions by the GHSA
- Perform in jazz, pep, and marching bands, as well as choral and string ensembles
- Enjoy a variety of activities such as HighQ (Academic Bowl), robotics, chess, Animation Club, and Film Club
- Participate in a Life and Career Planning Course during the junior and senior years to help determine college selection,
college majors, and possible career paths
- Produced individual perfect scores on the SAT, ACT, and PSAT in all areas of writing, critical reading and math
- Enjoy athletic activities ranging from golf to lacrosse and swimming/diving

- Produce a major drama production every year and participate in marching band, Art Club, and Boy Scouts
- Achieved a city championship in boys basketball and a state ranking in cross country
- Enhance their school days with special classes in art, Spanish, library, music, physical education, and computer (grades
3 - 5); 5th grade students may enroll in orchestra, band, or chorus
- Begin strong composition writing in Kindergarten
- Balance rigorous programs in phonics, spelling, grammar, writing, and vocabulary development
- Produce three musical programs a year (including a spring talent show) and weekly chapel programs
- Enjoy after-school classes in chess, ballet, music, art, tennis, soccer, volleyball, and basketball; Boy Scout and Girl
Scout troops meet after school on campus as well
- Participate in overnight field trips beginning in 2nd grade - with extended trips in 4th grade to the Georgia coastal
area and in 5th grade, the NASA Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama
- Run laps with teachers (and earn awards) two mornings a week before school in the Mileage Club
- Compete in spelling bee, math, fine arts, and creative writing competitions
- Look forward to the yearly fall Father/Student overnight Camp-Out in the Whitefield woods
