Since opening our doors in 1997, Whitefield Academy has been the blessed beneficiary
of over $30 million in gifts. Over $8 million came from our Board of Trustees with
100% participation; Atlanta-area foundations contributed almost $7 million; and
the remaining came from Whitefield families and friends with an annual parent participation
of 80%. With those funds we have been able to: create a campus of 75 acres; increase
enrollment form 97 to 685 students (with 24% minority representation); build permanent
buildings and fields, including an Athletic Center, stadium and press box, outdoor
amphitheater, Upper School, and a Lower School Activity Center with gym, cafeteria,
and stage. We were also able to create a $2.0 million endowment designated towards
financial aid and facility maintenance.
As Whitefield celebrates its tenth anniversary, we praise God for using you, to
help establish Whitefield Academy. Your continued faithful support through the Whitefield
Fund helps balance our operating budget each year. With tuition only covering 90%
of our annual budget, we rely on our Annual Fund to make up the difference. Rather
than have our students engage in product-selling fundraisers each year, Whitefield
asks parents, past parents, grandparents, and friends to make a generous once-a-year
tax-deductible gift to the Whitefield Fund. If you have not yet made your pledge
to the Whitefield Fund, please do so by December 31st (payment is not due until
June 30, 2008). Please return your pledge card or you may make your gift online

The purpose of the Advancement Department at Whitefield Academy is to promote the
mission and strategic plans of the school to our Whitefield families and surrounding
community, resulting in their involvement with the school through investments of
their time and financial resources.
