Qualified Education Expense Tax Credit Program
Do you ever wish you could decide how to spend your tax dollars? Well, now you can! At least a portion of your state tax dollars.
The Qualified Education Expense Tax Credit program is a dollar-for-dollar tax credit against your state taxes. That's right - a tax credit. For every dollar you give through this
program, you can subtract a dollar from the amount of state taxes you will owe next April. All monies received help fund our needs-based financial aid program.
Since its inception, Whitefield has received over a million dollars through this program. This money has helped fund our needs-based financial aid program, specifically for students
who enter Whitefield from a public school. We partner with Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program, Inc. to facilitate the tax credit for our families. GOAL stands for "G
ccess to L
earning" and that is exactly what we hope to accomplish at Whitefield Academy. One of our core values is "Enrollment reflecting the racial, ethnic,
diversity within the body of Christ." To date, a total of 18 students, who otherwise might not have been able to, have joined the Whitefield family through this program. If you
have any questions about this program, please contact Michelle Durrett at 678-305-3024 or
