After School Care

After Care (PreK-4, K)

Our mission is to provide an optional "after dismissal" service that bridges the gap of time between our PreK-4 dismissal (1:05 pm), Kindergarten dismissal (2:05 pm), and the dismissal of the remainder of our students.

Dates

After Care operates on all school days and school half-days (closed on school holidays and vacation days).

Hours of Operation

PreK-4 – 1:05 pm to 2:05 pm or
PreK-4 – 1:05 pm to 3:05 pm
Kindergarten – 2:05 pm to 3:05 pm
Should your child need additional care beyond 3:05 pm, you will need to enroll them in Club Cub as well. Enrollment forms are available from the LS Office.

Activities

Story time, rest time for PreK-4, playground time, and play time are included. An afternoon snack will be served to all in attendance.

Dress

The school uniform will be fine for most activities. You will be contacted in advance if the activities require a different dress than the Whitefield uniform.

Supervision

A faculty member or a qualified adult and a teaching assistant will be in charge of After Care.

Pick-up

Students will only be released to parents and those they designate. Designated persons must be named in writing by parents prior to pick-up. The Lower School Office will accept either a fax (678)305-3016 or an email sent to the Lower School office stating the student’s pick-up arrangements if different from parent. WE CARD: Any adult who is not familiar to our staff, including parents, will be asked to verify pick-up authorization and show a picture ID. Please be patient with our staff.

Cost

PreK-4 Annual (1:05-3:05 pm) Paid in Full: $1440.00
PreK-4 Annual (1:05-3:05 pm) Paid by Semester: $770.00
PreK-4 (1:05-2:05 pm) or Kindergarten (2:05-3:05 pm) Annual Paid in Full: $720.00
PreK-4 (1:05-2:05 pm) or Kindergarten (2:05-3:05 pm) Annual by Semester $410.00

*If your PreK-4 or Kindergarten student will stay past 3:05 pm, you must also enroll in Club Cub (please see separate flyer).

Occasional Use

Occasional Use of After Care is available at a rate of $10 per hour or any portion thereof (1:05 to 2:05 and/or 2:05 to 3:05). If your student also requires occasional use of Club Cub Services (3:05 to 6:00) there will be an additional flat fee of $20 charged per day. These fees are payable by cash or check, the day of use upon pick-up of your student. Availability is not guaranteed. Please notify the Lower School Office at 678-305-3044 by noon of the day you will need Occasional Use care. If the Lower School is NOT notified by NOON, it will be viewed as EMERGENCY CARE (which is at a rate of $20 PER HOUR or any portion thereof).
