Parent Schoology Information Session

Thursday, August 24, 5:15 p.m., Middle School Learning Lounge (lower level of Founders Hall Middle School building, across from the Barnett Gathering Room)
Middle and Upper School parents are encouraged to attend this tutorial session about the Schoology website and apps. We’ll go over how to set up preferred notifications, talk about Schoology basics, and make sure parents leave feeling empowered to keep track of their child’s academic success. Parents are encouraged (but not required) to bring their preferred devices.


Grandparents Invited to All-School Prayer and Chapel

Friday, August 25, All-School Prayer at 8 a.m. in Barnett Gathering Room (Middle School Building) and All-School Chapel at 9 a.m. (Athletic Center)
Calling all grandparents! A wonderful way to experience Whitefield Academy at its finest is to attend the all-school prayer kickoff, followed by the all-school chapel in the Athletic Center. You will have an opportunity to join others in prayer for our faculty, staff, and students this day and most Fridays throughout the year. Byron Johnson, parent and board trustee leads our prayer time. Coffee provided.


Whitefield's Great Day of Service

Eight hundred volunteers have already signed up for our Great Day of Service on Saturday. You don't want to miss this exciting event! Lower School News 

Registration Now Open for 13th Annual Second-, Third-, and Fourth-Grade Dad/Child Campout

Saturday September 16, and Sunday September 17
Registration is now open! Dads, we are heading back to Camp Highland to make some more memories. Camp is limited to second-, third-, and fourth-grade students and their fathers. Middle School News 

Fifth- and Sixth-Grade Team-Building Trip

Tomorrow, 9:05 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Fifth- and sixth-grade students will travel to King Springs Baptist Church in Smyrna tomorrow for our annual team-building field trip. Students need to arrive at 9:05 a.m. and go straight to advisee for attendance. Buses will leave campus at 9:15 a.m., so please be on time! Students should be picked up from Whitefield in the afternoon at 3:30 p.m.

We will be outside for the majority of the day, so please bring a water bottle and wear sunscreen. Lunch will be provided. The attire is P.E. shorts and athletic shoes, and shirts in your grade/gender color:
  • Fifth-grade girls – white
  • Fifth-grade boys – green
  • Sixth-grade girls – red
  • Sixth-grade boys – blue
