In a clash between the #4 seed Social Circle and the #1 seed Whitefield Academy in the first round Class A state playoff home game, the varsity boys stomped the Redskins 78-39 on Friday, Feb. 26.
Leading the offense was Kanneth Gaines' with 22 points, seven rebounds, three assists and five steals. Kennard Backman scored 15 points and had four rebounds. Pryce Washington contributed 13 points while Tekele Cotton had 11 points and four steals.
With this win, the WolfPack win take on fifth-ranked Paideia (20-7) tomorrow at home. This will be the last home game of the season. The game begins at 7:00 pm and is a GHSA game which means everyone has to pay admission. PackBacker passes are not accepted.
