The WolfPack defeated the Osborne Cardinals 14 - 2 Friday, Feb. 26. The WolfPack led 4 - 1 after five innings of play, but the top of the sixth inning proved to be the back breaker for the Cardinals.
After two quick outs to start the inning, Kevin Whitney drew a walk. Nahim Attaf followed with a double to center field. Harrison Goudiss knocked a single up the middle to score Kevin and Nahim. Neil Ratigan, Charles Warren, Jacob Southerland and Brian Whitney all had singles in the inning to cap off a 7-run inning.
Nahim Attaf (1-0) made his pitching debut for the WolfPack going three scoreless innings. Harrison Goudiss and Neil Ratigan pitched two innings each in their season debuts holding the Cardinals to two runs over four innings of work.
