For just the second time in school history, the Varsity Girls’ Basketball team advanced to State basketball competition. Players Briana Jones, Carson Quiros and Caitlin Hesse led the team in a neck to neck game against Prince Avenue Christian in Athens this past Saturday. Down in the fourth quarter, Alexis Cook tied up the score with a free throw and the game went into late overtime. During overtime, our freshman players fought hard to get ahead. In the end, the Pack lost 51-46, but what an incredible season for the Varsity Girls’ Wolfpack! Keep watching these girls! They play with determination, grit and a whole lot of heart! We are so proud of you!
