Parents are an integral part of the spiritual life at Whitefield. Listed below are opportunities for parents to become involved:
College Moms' Prayer Group
Even after students graduate from Whitefield and matriculate into college, parents continue to pray for their individual needs. Our College Moms’ Prayer Group meets in a home
every other Friday for a time of fellowship and prayer for Whitefield college and alumni students. Contact Sharon McClellan for more information at thejuiceplusnurse@comcast.net.
Dad's Fellowship
The Whitefield Dad’s Fellowship inspires fathers to live for Christ in their families and workplaces, and challenges dads to be personally involved in their children’s education.
Structured events such as prayer breakfasts (with inspirational speakers) and campus work days are scheduled regularly through the Dad’s Fellowship.

Friday Morning Prayer
The Whitefield Parent Association (WPA) sponsors a weekly prayer group that all Whitefield parents are invited to attend. The prayer group meets every Friday from 8:15 to 9:15
in the Upper School Faculty Reading Room (on the lower floor of the US building). We would love to have you join us at this informal gathering of parents as we lift up the needs
of our children, school, teachers, and staff!

Lower School Friday Fun Fellowship
Parents are encouraged to help lead Whitefield’s Fun Friday Fellowship, a monthly after school opportunity for third through fifth graders to enjoy fun and fellowship. Boys are
led by fathers from their respective grades and the girls are led by moms. The curriculum revolves around forming godly friendships and resolving conflicts peacefully. These sessions
include a period of interactive study followed by a craft for the girls and a recreational activity for the boys. The students are given real-life opportunities to implement godly
principles about which they are learning. It is a wonderful time of fellowship and fun before heading home for the weekend!
Lower School Prayer Circles
At the beginning of each school year, Lower School parents meet together and pray for the teachers, classes, and students of each individual grade. This is a wonderful time of
fellowship and prayer as parents commit the academic year to the Lord. Watch for information about these circles at the beginning of each year.
Parent to Parent
Parent-to-Parent is a required program for sixth grade parents and a vehicle for building community and raising awareness of parental concerns. Parents meet in small groups to
watch a video series by The Passage Group, a company founded by Bill Oliver. This video series teaches practical, understandable, and effective ideas for combating the false messages
of our culture. Small groups are also available to parents of seventh and eighth graders who choose to continue the program. Topics addressed include parenting teens, helping
your child maintain purity, developing a biblical worldview of marriage and parenting, and the appropriate use of technology in relationships and communication. Relationships
formed between parents in these groups are built on a mutual desire to know other families and help one another raise godly men and women.
Whitefield Parent Association
Whitefield Academy parents are automatically a part of the Whitefield Parent Association (WPA), which plays a vital role in the success and growth of the school. The goal of the
WPA is to support and encourage our students, families, faculty, and staff through many events and activities that promise to enhance everyone’s experience at Whitefield. With
almost 30 different WPA committees, parents have an opportunity to contribute in an area that matches their interests and schedule. For more information about the WPA,
