The seed of an idea came at a Whitefield basketball game as several dads stayed
after to enjoy another victory and discuss the uniqueness of the fathers at Whitefield
who demonstrate a strong desire to be involved in their child’s school life.
"These dads are coming out to all the sporting events as spectators, why can’t
we create structured events to encourage our dads to get more involved in praying
and participating as well?"
Hence, the Whitefield Dads' Fellowship (WDF) was born. The first WDF breakfast was
so well attended that we had to move it from the George Whitefield room to the gym.
Over 80 dads got to meet their classmates’ fathers and heard an incredible challenging
message by Dr. Crawford Loritts about the responsibilities of being a dad as a follower
of Jesus Christ.

and to pray for our school.

To allow a venue for us, as Whitefield dads, to introduce our friends to the school.
Get Involved!
We always need help. Whether you can donate an hour of your time a month or an hour
a year, every bit helps us share the workload. If you can set-up a chair, flip a
pancake, or know how to use a paintbrush, we need you. If you believe in what we
are trying to accomplish through the WDF please contact the appropriate coordinator
below. Ask how you can help with an upcoming event or be involved in planning next
year’s programs.
