Whitefield Academy offers its students a first-hand look at select colleges and universities. Whitefield’s college counseling office has vast experience in working with many institutions
in obtaining meetings with admission representatives and securing campus tours in a variety of locations throughout the country.
With very reasonable travel rates, upper-classmen are offered frequent opportunities to tour large/small, public/private, urban/rural collegiate settings throughout the United
States. These college trips offer an opportunity for small groups of students to individually narrow and expand their collegiate choices – while being guided by the college counselor
and (often!) Whitefield faculty and staff members who are alums of the colleges being visited.
Recent college tours have included the following areas:
- Chicago – Northwestern, Lake Forest, University of Chicago, etc.
- Boston – Boston College, Boston University, Harvard, Gordon College, etc.
- the Carolina’s – Wake Forest, Furman, Clemson, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, Duke, etc.
- Alabama – Auburn and the University of Alabama
- Texas – Baylor, Texas A&M, University of Texas at Austin, TCU, SMU, etc.
