Tina Ansley
Teacher Assistant PreK
Tina Ansley
has worked as a teacher's assistant at Whitefield since 2007. She began her career as a cosmetologist, but after having children, she quickly became involved with teaching children in various capacities at church and in Christian schools. Ansley joined the Whitefield staff when her love for working with children developed into a calling and ministry. Her children are graduates of Whitefield.
On a professional note
Why Whitefield:
I chose Whitefield Academy for my two daughters, Rikki ('05) and Danielle ('08). When I was approached about a possible employment opportunity at Whitefield, we decided it was God’s will since I love working with children and had done similar work in the past at another private Christian school in Atlanta. I knew Whitefield was a good school when I chose it for my own children. Parents want only the best for their children. After working here, my opinion of the school’s quality has only been strengthened and confirmed.
Why I love my job:
Well, who would not love 28 loving arms and 14 precious faces greeting you every morning? I love children, and I love watching them learn and grow. I wonder each year if the enthusiasm will wane, but every summer, a few weeks before school starts, I begin to feel the excitement build. I once watched a cute little boy the evening of the Back To School picnic as he came into the room. He seemed as though he would explode with joy as he looked around his new classroom. He suddenly began to jump straight up and down, unable to contain what had been building inside of him. I could totally relate!
