The Campaign for a New Lower School Building at Whitefield Academy

Progress

Whitefield Academy is thrilled to announce that the Leaving a Legacy $24 million goal has been met! Through prayer and generous giving, the Whitefield community made it possible for a new Lower School building - Brostrand Hall - to be built.

Raised

Construction began in April 2019 and the building is currently on schedule to open for the first day of the 2020-2021 school year. We anticipate welcoming over 250 Lower School students, grades PreK through fourth, into the school! To check out the live the construction video feed, click here.

The Leaving a Legacy Campaign was an extension of the 20/20 Campaign and included a number of projects, including:
  • expansion of athletic facilities (tennis courts and a new practice field)
  • acquisition of land (where overflow and softball/baseball batting facility is located)
  • expansion of dining (the WolfPack Den in the Athletic Center)
We are grateful for the generosity of current and past families, as well as grandparents, faculty, alumni, and current students. Our generous Whitefield family believes in planting a tree under whose shade they do not expect to sit. Thank you!
