Catherine Hamilton ’13 has been living and working in Berlin since October 2017. She works as a free-lance branding consultant and will be moving the base of her work from Berlin back to the states in the fall of 2018.

Some of her clients include Bob Goff, Whitefield Academy, Prachtwerk (an art and music cafe in Neukölln), musician Kelsey Brae, the delegation of Fiji for the World Wildlife Fund, and for the Office of climate change for the United Nations.

Catherine loves Berlin and has had a lot of opportunity to work with some great start ups! Berlin, according to Catherine, is considered to be the Silicon Valley of Europe where there are a lot of international freelancers and entrepreneurs. Catherine values her experience of living and working in Europe, specifically Berlin. She thinks everyone should work to have an experience such as hers!

In Catherine’s words, “I have loved getting plugged in with my church here and with the artist community at large. There are a lot of southern immigrants like me, who have shown me the best place to get fried pickles and sweet tea or the best spot to catch an SEC football game. It’s an incredible place to live!”
