Congratulations to Faith Jones, 11th-grade, on receiving the Most Positive Cheerleading Athlete for Cobb County, a regional award granted by Georgia Positive Athlete. This organization grants college scholarships to outstanding high school athletes based on their character and athleticism. Out of the more than 5,400 Georgia high school athletes who were nominated for 2019, only 7% will receive awards.

After enduring injuries last season, Faith has demonstrated resilience, perseverance, and dedication to the WolfPack. Faith’s infectious smile and her commitment to heal made her stand out during practices and on game days. Her ability to encourage and empower others during a season with significant physical trials has been a testament to her faith in Christ. Hebrews 10:35-37 teaches us, “So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.”
