WolfPack Weekly Roundup: March 18, 2019

Last week the WolfPack had a full week of competitions! Highlights included varsity girls and boys track teams taking second place at the Westminster meet on Wednesday, varsity soccer and tennis teams shutting out Mt. Bethel, and other victories claimed by Middle School girls soccer, boys and girls JV tennis, and Middle School baseball. Click “read more” below to find recaps on these events and more!

Another exciting highlight to the week was watching the varsity boys soccer team over the weekend, who were invited for the second year in a row to play in the elite Westminster Soccer Tournament. The boys had a dominating 3-0 win Friday night against a top ranked 7A team from Alabama and battled last year’s 3A state championship Westminster team all the way to the end, losing a great battle on the pitch 2-3. If you have not had a chance to come out to watch these boys play, I would encourage you to soon! We are very proud of the great showing they had this weekend in a very competitive tournament and are excited to watch as they march towards another playoff run this season!

Looking ahead, we will continue to work hard and play hard this week. We have nine Middle School events, one JV event, and 14 varsity events coming up this week, and we’re excited to cheer on the Pack as they take on teams including Mount Paran, Kings Ridge, and St. Francis. Click here to see the full WolfPack schedule.  The weather looks like it finally might be in our favor so come out and enjoy watching the WolfPack compete this week!

Looking forward to seeing you in the stands soon!
