Last week we cheered on our varsity soccer team Thursday night as they competed in the state championship game after an incredible 17–4 season! This game kept us on our feet, cheering loudly as the Pack gave their best and left it all on the field. Though they fell just short (Final: 1–2, Wesleyan), these young men played an awesome, well-fought game, and we were so proud of how they represented our school and our Savior. If you attended this game, you were likely also impressed as I was with the outpouring of support from our community and the spirit of every WolfPack fan that attended! Congratulations, varsity boys soccer team, on an amazing season and a fantastic job overall. We’re so proud of you!

Now that we've reached the end of our spring athletic season, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank each of you for the way you have supported WolfPack athletics this year! Through cheering on the Pack, serving as team moms, driving athletes to events, planning end-of-season banquets, helping your student to stay on top of homework and practice schedules, praying for our teams, sharing encouraging words with coaches, and showing up to many events throughout the year… you play an integral part in the success of this department, and we are so grateful for you!

Thanks also to each member of the PackBackers for enabling WolfPack athletics to make awesome strides in creating stronger programs each year. Your membership fee enables us to purchase important equipment to improve each of our sports, and your dedication to cheering on the Pack is an incredible blessing at each game!

Special thanks to the PackBacker board led by Kevin Brogan for his and all their work throughout the year to ensure that each of our events runs smoothly. Thanks to this team, the athletics department remains organized and connected to our parent volunteers, concessions remain available at our games, we enjoy special celebrations of each of our varsity teams, and they have helped fund many special projects and equipment purchases this season.

Thanks to each of our athletic sponsors for their support this year! We so appreciate each of you and your willingness to back the Pack: Beacham & Company Realtor Tricia Feagin, Chick-fil-A, Courtnay & Rowe Music Academy/The Music Studio at Vinings, St. Angelo’s, Sterling Seacrest Partners, US Café, The Varsity, Commercial Signs, Petersen Partners, Smyrna First United Methodist Church, Smyrna Soccer Club, 101 Concepts, Allison-Smith Company, Atlanta Custom Interiors, Atlanta PT, Dorm Suite Dorm, Inglett & Stubbs, Los Bravos Mexican Restaurant, Mach 1 Security Services, Oakdale Family Dental, and Peachtree Tents & Events.

Finally, thanks to our talented and spirited students, who tirelessly work to honor Christ through the abilities He has given them! Thanks to the members of SWAT, cheerleading, marching band, pep band, and the BlueCrew for how you have shown up, worked hard, and cheered loudly!

We are praying for each of our students as they take on exams and the final week of the school year. Have a wonderful summer!
