WolfPack Weekly Roundup: October 11, 2018
Categories: General, Athletics

The athletics department and I hope you each had a restful and enjoyable fall break!

Before we left for break, the WolfPack earned five great victories in football, softball, and volleyball! Our Middle School football teams continued strong seasons, as both teams remain undefeated thus far. Our varsity cross country team was the spirit spotlight last week, and the PackBackers Spirit Coordinators shared this highlight video to celebrate their season thus far! We enjoyed cheering them on at the Asics Invitational in Douglasville on Saturday morning, where junior runner Devin Wade broke the Whitefield record for a 5k with a time of 15:29.44! Congratulations to Devin, and to the additional 11 runners who also raced their personal best! You can find recaps from these events and more below.

For the remainder of this week we’ll begin winding down our fall athletic season, as varsity volleyball competes in their area tournament and Middle School cross-country competes in the Metro10 championship and state meets. We’re also looking forward to cheering on the Pack through JV and MS football games and a varsity cross-country meet. Click here for our full athletic calendar for the week!

Looking forward to backing the Pack alongside you soon,

Danny Ryan
Athletic Director
