Varsity Tennis vs. Holy Innocents’ School
Wednesday, April 7
4 PM
Location: HOME
Boys: L 2-3; Girls L 0-5

The two wins for the boys came from our doubles teams. The 1 doubles team of Davis (9th) and Drew (9th) Saad found themselves in a first set tiebreaker and a match tiebreaker, which they won in thrilling fashion. The 2 doubles team of Trey Kantor (9th) and Tyler Fay (12th) also found themselves in a first set tiebreaker which they won, then they ended up winning the second set easily 6-2, therefore securing the second win. All of our singles players played incredibly well today. They faced tough opponents and all rose to the challenge and fought hard.

Due to some last minute lineup changes, many of our girls played in new positions for the first time this season. Most notably, Isabelle Jordan (12th) played up at 1 Singles, Addie Ellis (10th) played at 2 Singles, and Caroline Schmitt (11th) got the chance to play 3 Singles. Caroline had a great match, and even though she ended up losing, it was very close and competitive, and  she battled hard the entire time. Our doubles teams had competitive matches as well, and the girls have a lot to be proud of despite the score.
