Why Whitefield:
My experience with teaching began at a young age. My mother taught for over 30 years, so much of my time after school was spent helping her in her classroom. After graduating from Wheaton College, I pursued a business career but, within a few years, I felt God leading me towards education. Under the mentorship and guidance of our Lower School principal, Jeannie Brostrand, I began my career at Whitefield teaching Club Cub and Lower School computer classes. It is my pleasure and honor to work in a school that is Christ-centered and has such a strong academic program. I love being able to share my love for the Lord and for teaching in the same environment.

Why I love teaching/my job:
I love seeing children’s faces when they discover something they have never experienced before or when they finally understand a concept I have spent time teaching them.
