Why Whitefield?
I have a passion for teaching and a commitment to maximizing individual student performance. I have dedicated my entire teaching career to the pursuit of fostering students’ spiritual, academic, and personal growth. Therefore, I chose Whitefield because I would be able to use my God-given talents. Whitefield has earned a prominent reputation for achieving academic excellence in the Atlanta area, and it is an honor to join and serve a school that maintains high educational standards that allows its students opportunities for academic, spiritual, and personal growth.

What I enjoy about teaching
I enjoy many aspects of teaching. Most of all, I get a new start every year with a new group of students and families—new faces and personalities to grow to love. As a teacher, I am constantly evolving and changing; each year I grow and improve across multiple areas. I am not the same teacher from year to year because I get to improve upon what has been successful and find something new to replace what has not worked.

About my family:
My husband Chris and I have been married for over 24 years. We have a daughter, Alexis. Above all, I am a daughter of the Most High God and I count it a privilege to be part of His family. As much as I value and love being a wife, mother, and educator, my greatest joy is knowing and loving God. He is the reason I am alive today.
