Why Whitefield:
I was introduced to Whitefield as a long-term substitute during the 2013-2014 school year. I was absolutely amazed at the level of academic rigor, integrity, and community I experienced at Whitefield. Time and time again I witnessed both faculty and students demonstrate their devotion to "the living and active Jesus."

Why I love teaching:
Honestly, I feel that I am a born teacher--I can't seem to help myself! My goal in the classroom is to give my students everything I know in a way that is engaging and challenging. My hope is that they will then go infinitely farther than I have by continuing to learn, applying their knowledge, and growing into even better people.

About my family:
When I'm not teaching in the classroom, I go home to teach my own three kids--Nicholas, Hylah, and Hannah. Teaching never ends!
