Why Whitefield?
My husband and I had always heard positive feedback from neighbors and friends about Whitefield Academy. However, it was when our daughter, Kylie, transitioned to Whitefield for her seventh-grade year that we truly fell in love with the school. Whitefield fosters such a strong sense of Christian community. Through volunteer experiences and school events, I became more and more impressed with the Whitefield staff, faculty, and families. I am very excited about being a part of this unique and special Christ-centered community, not only as a parent, but also as a staff member. I look forward to working in partnership with teachers and parents in supporting Whitefield's mission to instill in students a "passion for learning, for others ahead of self, and for the living and active Jesus."

Why I love my job:
I love helping children and families, especially within the dynamics of the school setting. Promoting healthy, social-emotional development is essential as we prepare our students to become happy, confident, and productive members of society. I love the multifaceted role of the school counselor - education and prevention, identification and intervention, collaboration and consultation with teachers and parents - all in an effort to maximize each student's learning potential.
