Why Whitefield:
As a former homeschooler, my primary goal as a parent was to instill a biblical worldview into the hearts and minds of my girls. That goal remains as I partner with families here at Whitefield in the mission of this school. The sobering task of encouraging a “passion for learning, for others ahead of self, and for the living and active Jesus” compels me still. I embrace this opportunity with enthusiasm and joy.

Why I love teaching:
I love kids! I'm a kid at heart! I love partnering with parents in raising godly young people who go on from this place with "a passion for learning, for others ahead of self, and for the living and active Jesus!" (again...not original, but I strongly believe this!) I want my students to know and love God, recognize that everyone deserves respect and honor, and serve others out of a heart of gratitude. If I can model this to my students, I will have satisfied my primary objective in this profession.
