Research and Technology class creates QR codes

Sixth-graders in the Research and Technology class recently created QR codes to go along with book reviews they had previously written. Students can use the QR codes to go directly to sites that provide further information. The projects were placed on display in the library.

Drama class studies movement in theatre

Mrs. Coleman's drama class is studying movement in theatre, including stage pictures, pantomime, and, of course, stage combat. This is part of their "Theatre for the Eyes" unit. In the first single-sword combat lesson, the Middle School students learned how to stand in “ready position” called “kissing the blade.”
