WolfPack Weekly Roundup: April 16, 2018
Categories: General, Athletics
Posted: 4/16/2018

Last week we had the opportunity to celebrate the WolfPack in some special ways! On Tuesday, the varsity girls soccer team honored coach Lou Nardi, who is finishing his final season as a soccer coach at Whitefield after faithfully serving for 16 years. The team showed a presentation with photos and videos from alumni players and took time to thank Coach Nardi for the impact he’s had on their lives. On Wednesday, our varsity baseball team competed against Fellowship Christian, the Kona Ice truck came out, and fans enjoyed a free shaved ice as they cheered on the Pack! On Thursday we arrived at school to find the front of the Upper School building decorated in support of our varsity tennis team, which will compete in the region tournament beginning today. It was a great week of competing and celebrating the Pack! You can find recaps from the athletic events of last week below.

This week we’re looking forward to competing in 20 athletic events. On Wednesday, varsity baseball will begin region tournament play, and Middle School track will compete in the Metro 10 meet. Whitefield will host an area meet for varsity track on Tuesday and Thursday, with the return of the Kona Ice truck on Thursday afternoon!
