For many students, the college application process is the first time they face significant life decisions. Having worked in College Admissions and College Counseling for over a decade, I have found Whitefield to offer the most genuine approach to a student’s college search. While the goal is to help students find their “best fit college”, it goes beyond that. We know that at the center of this experience is our Creator, who has called each student for an individual purpose. While determining your life’s purpose is a journey of its own, we encourage students to lean into how God created them and what that means for the future he is calling them into.

At Whitefield, college counseling is not an afterthought; it is an intentional, four-year journey that begins before students enter ninth grade. Through personalized guidance and a thoughtfully designed progression of programming, our College Counseling Office equips students and families with the insight, tools, and confidence to navigate the college admissions process with purpose and clarity.
Our Signature Vocare Program
Whitefield’s signature Vocare program is a 10-week, counselor-led experience for juniors designed to help them discover their unique gifts, interests, and values before beginning the college application process. Through assessments, guided reflection, and goal setting, students gain clarity about their future direction. The program culminates in career roundtables, where professionals and alumni share real-world insights on careers and college paths in small-group settings.
Individualized Academic Coaching
Students in grades 9–12 meet one-on-one with academic and college counselors, helping them align academic choices with future goals.
Our Comprehensive College Application & Essay Writing Support
Seniors participate in an in-depth College Application Seminar paired with a dedicated Essay Writing Course, providing step-by-step guidance on every aspect of the application process, from building a strong college list to crafting compelling personal statements.
Over 70 Colleges and Universities Visit Our Campus Each Year
Events are hosted on campus year-round, giving students direct access to admissions representatives.
