Whitefield takes a holistic approach in determining admission and considers all components of the admissions application, including academic performance, testing, teacher evaluations, interviews or observations, and extracurricular interests and talents. As a Christ-centered, covenant school, we require that at least one parent/guardian profess faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our grade-specific application process helps us get to know both your child and your family! The grade level guides below can serve as a check-list as you walk through the application process. Our online admission application is hosted by Ravenna Solutions. Ravenna will direct you to create an account with a password,
and after you have created your account, the software will allow you to navigate the application process.

Complete the Shared Applicant Information Form and Family Information Form and submit the nonrefundable application fee of $75.
PreK: no test required
Grades K-5: Complete JATP authorization form and register for the Joint Admissions Testing Program (JATP) at
www.jatp.org. Testing will resume this summer or based on the availability of the psychologist.
Grades 6-12: Register for the Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT) at
www.ssat.org.
The school code for Whitefield Academy is 5255. Beginning in mid- May, SSAT will offer SSAT at Home, a computer-based, at-home assessment.

Students applying to grades 4-12 should complete the Student Questionnaire.
K: Provide your child’s current school with the Authorization to Release School Record form. You can do this by printing,
scanning, and emailing the form to the school.
1-12:
Provide your child’s current school with the Transcript Release Authorization form. You can do this by printing,
scanning, and emailing the form to the school. The transcript will include your child’s grades, attendance,
behavior report, and any standardized testing conducted by the school.

If you have copies of your child’s report cards, standardized testing results, or other school records you can
email these documents to
admissions@whitefieldacademy.com.
Through your Ravenna account, delegate the appropriate recommendation forms by entering the email address(es) of the evaluator(s).
Grades PreK-K: Teacher/Principal Evaluation
Grades 1-4: Teacher Evaluation
Grade 5: Teacher Evaluation, Additional Teacher Evaluation (only required if the same teacher teaches student math and English), Principal/Guidance Counselor Evaluation
Grades 6-12: English Teacher Evaluation, Math Teacher Evaluation, Principal/Counselor Evaluation, Additional Teacher Evaluation (only required if the same teacher teaches student math and English, optional Extracurricular Reference)
