The mission of the Whitefield Fine Arts Department is to teach and encourage students, as individuals made in the image of God, to identify and develop their God-given creative gifts that reflect and glorify the Creator, while pursuing excellence in their artistic endeavors.

The Fine Arts Department at Whitefield Academy is truly one-of-a-kind. After 24 years of teaching here, I’m still amazed by our students’ passion and engagement in the arts. From the Senior Showcase to the Spring Chorus, Marching Band to the Cornerstone Orchestra, our students embrace their Creator God as they create, learn, and share their God-given talents. We are so grateful to witness and celebrate their gifts here at Whitefield.
We have been so grateful for the way Whitefield has partnered with us in the faith journey of our daughters. Now that our oldest is in high school, it is incredible to witness the way her faith has matured from memorizing scripture in elementary school to wrestling with deeper questions about the Bible and learning more about the character of God. Seeing how her teachers in all disciplines, including the arts, to weave the truths of the Bible into their teaching is something we don’t take lightly and I can see that she is growing deep roots through her experience at Whitefield!
