Celebrate the art of music at Whitefield, where students explore voice, instruments, and ensemble performance from PreK through Upper School. Whether in band, chorus, or orchestra, each student has the opportunity to refine skill, share talent, and glorify God through song and sound.
Our Music Arts Programming fosters excellence in ensemble performance, emphasizing collaboration and creativity. At Whitefield Academy, creativity is celebrated in every form, on stage, behind an instrument, or in front of a canvas. Our Fine Arts programs challenge, equip, and inspire students, nurturing their God-given talents while preparing them for a lifetime of artistic expression. Each discipline encourages students to reflect their Creator in their work, fostering confidence, skill, and joy in the arts.

Our Fine Arts Academic Offerings:
Orchestra
Our orchestra nurtures excellence in ensemble performance while emphasizing collaboration and creativity.
Lower School: Optional after-school violin lessons
Middle School: Electives in orchestra, music theory, and composition
Upper School: Four performance ensembles, including the community-focused Cornerstone Ensemble
Performances: Regular chapel, concert, and community events highlight student musicianship and leadership
Chorus
Students grow in musicality and expression while honoring God through song.
Lower School: Foundational music classes; optional Chorale begins in Grade 2
Middle and Upper School: Elective chorus develops vocal technique and performance skills
Additional Opportunities: Grade 6+ students may audition for Cadence, the Middle School show choir
Band
From early exploration of rhythm in PreK–Grade 4 to advanced ensembles in Upper School, our band program develops skill and passion for music.
Grades 5+: Students choose brass, woodwind, or percussion instruments
Middle and Upper School Ensembles:
– Dynamic Marching Band with drum line and color guard
– Traveling Jazz Band
– Two levels of Concert Bands
