Literary Arts
The written and spoken word is an art form in itself and is cultivated through our English department’s passion for literature, poetry, and creative writing. Whitefield students have the opportunity to grow in the literary arts through electives that include Communications & Public Speaking and Creative Writing. Students submit their own literary work for local, regional, and national judging and participate each year in the Poetry Out Loud competition.
