Lower School

After School Programs

When the school day is over, activity at the Lower School is most certainly not!

Musicians and ballerinas practice and learn pieces to perform at winter and spring recitals. Chess players play rounds of chess and represent the school as they compete in local tournaments. Developing athletes gain skills and develop a healthy lifestyle that will contribute to their success and to the success of the Whitefield athletic program, should they decide to participate athletically at the Middle School or Upper School level. Young artists mold their next masterpiece from a lump of clay and young scientists create their first robots or test the principles of science.

Whitefield’s after school programs offer young students a chance to explore an area of interest and discover new talents. Parents sign their children up for academic, arts, or athletic classes (on a first-come, first –serve basis) for a fee, and then enjoy the benefit of knowing their children are learning with friends in a safe and loving environment. Parents love the convenient location and educational experiences of our after school programs and kids love the fun and friendships. Classes are led by school faculty or well-qualified instructors from the community.
